Algonquin
Road
District is a proud member of IEPA's "Partners in Paint" recycling program. Paint
Recycling is available at the Algonquin Township Road District the last
Saturday of the month March through October.
Residents
can drop off paint the last Saturday of every month from 8:00 a.m. until Noon.

We accept latex and
oil-based paint, stain and varnish.

We DO NOT accept thinners, stains,
or paint removers.

All paint brought in for recycling
MUST BE brought to our facility during the designated paint
recycling days and times.

Reusable paint that
is brought in for recycling will be sorted by type and color. The
paint will be mixed, strained and combined into 5-gallon containers.
You
may contact the Road District at (847) 639-2700, extension 6 for further
details on obtaining the paint that is recycled. All unusable paint will
be poured into 55-gallon drums and disposed of in an environmentally
friendly manner by the IEPA.

Township Road District is a participating member in the IL EPA's program
partners in waste paint solutions. This service is provided for
our residential constituents. Please no commercial drop-offs.
